About The STARS Foundation

The STARS Foundation is a fine arts school located in Cabool, Missouri. Founded by Executive Director Rebecca Peterson in 2010, the program encompasses six counties within a 120-mile radius. The school fosters individual growth by offering music, dance, theater, art, and languages, while at the same time cultivating self-confidence through hard work and dedication.

Our student enrollment has steadily grown from 40 students to over 1200 in just 12 years! STARS stands for “Studying, Teaching And Returning Service,” and members of the program have the opportunity to participate in community service to supplement the cost of the program. The most rewarding part of the STARS curriculum is enhancing the growth potential of not only children, but also adults who have a desire to learn and develop their skills.
