To help alleviate some of the financial worries that plague all non-profits, we instituted an automatic debit process that began with the Fall 2018 semester. When you register for classes and get your card on file for automatic monthly payments, you will receive a 50% discount on the monthly membership fee, so membership will be $5 instead of the usual $10. In addition, credit card fees will be waived for those who set up automatic payments! We hope this new service will benefit everyone by offering these incentives and streamlining the payment process. If you would like to sign up for automatic debit card payments, please call 417-254-3168 to set this up. Please note - this cannot be completed online. If you would like to, you may fill out a form for auto debit.
Due to the difficulty in tracking cash payments, STARS will no longer accept cash payments for tuition bills. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The STARS Foundation is a non-profit organization. As such, the Foundation is funded by grants and the donations of those in our communities who are moved to support and give to this wonderful program. In order for STARS to continue providing these services, students who do not comply with payment policies will be excused from the program.
Scholarships are awarded based on availability. If you are interested; please turn in this form for review and the Board will inform you if you are eligible.
The STARS Foundation will continue billing for all registered classes unless and until a Withdrawal Form is submitted to the Treasurer, David Edwards, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
